ABC Photocolour offers both a standard and high resolution slide output from digital files to our Imapro QCR Zi film recorder. We are able to convert your digital file to output onto slide from the following applications:
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe PageMaker
- Adobe Photoshop
- Macromedia Freehand
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Quark XPress

If the presentation is created in Microsoft PowerPoint, be sure to change under Page Set-up... from On-Screen Show to 35 mm slides to ensure that the slides are output without cropping off any text or image that you have placed in your presentation.
All TIFFs or JPEGs created in Adobe Photoshop must be tagged with the sRGB colour space when submitted for slide output.
There are two types of resolution, standard resolution and high resolution. Standard resolution has a pixel dimensions of 1352 x 2048 (7.5" x 11.25" @ 180ppi) and are generally for small-scale projections onto boardroom screens. High resolution has a pixel dimensions of 2730 x 4096 (7.5" x 11.25" @ 365ppi), usually for large-scale projections in lecture halls and big screens. As for high resolution slides for cinemas and movie houses, the dimensions to meet the criteria are 2300 x 3900 (7.6" x 13" @ 300ppi).
