The LightJet 500XL is the newest member of the Océ LightJet family. The Océ LightJet is the leading supplier of superwide digital photographic printing system. With 500XL, you can go wider and still maintain the same brilliant quality and exceptional detail on your images.
Océ employs internal drum architecture on the LightJet to ensure the best possible accuracy from one edge of the image to the other. Using three lasers (RGB), 500XL images photographic media (RA4 paper, Trans/Clear, Flex) within the internal drum system, facilitating fast printing of super large image size up to 76.5" x 120.5" at an apparent resolution of 4,000 dpi.
Océ LightJet 500XL prints are ideal for applications such as backlit graphics, tradeshow displays, point-of-purchase posters, and fine art photography.

The Noritsu QSS-3101 Digital is a highly productive minilab with a superior workflow provided by fully digital operations, and system components that employ state-of-the-art technology.
Employing a revolutionary, newly developed laser technology in the exposure system, the QSS-3101 Digital is capable of high quality prints of 320dpi output onto both standard and digital papers.
From scanning to printing, all operations are fully digital. The utilization of a high-speed, detached scanner, laser print engine, and numerous speed-enhancing features enable the QSS-3101 Digital to produce up to approximately 2350 5" x 3.5" prints per hour. High quality enlargements up to 12" x 18" can be produced as well as other additional value added print services such as greeting cards, calendar prints, ID photos, business cards and package prints.
Because the QSS-3101 Digital converts all scanned images into digital data, a wide range of correction measures can be applied to significantly improve contrast, sharpness and red-eye, as well as minimizing problems with exposure, backlighting, and flash photography. Negatives with dust and scratches can be automatically detected and corrected when the standard Digital ICE™ feature is employed.

The LightJet 5900's image quality surpasses to competitive photo printers with imaging technology that ensures a constant pixel size, shape and intensity over the entire image. Media is held stationary within a precision internal drum, while a spinning mirror directs light from 3 lasers to expose conventional photographic materials.
Using red, green and blue lasers, the LightJet 5900 achieves true continuous-tone photographs without any visible dots. Inkjet and electrostatic printers, which simulate photo quality with half-tone dot patterns, would need to image at 4,000 dpi to duplicate the same image crispness, highlights, and shadow detail.
The LightJet design incorporates advanced laser technology to optimize colour range and colour resolution. Its 36-bit colour space, capable of producing 68 billion colors, ensures optimum control over the light source to reproduce colour with perfect fidelity. In comparison, other photo printers are limited to 24 bits or 16.7 million colors.
Using a patented adaptive 16-point bi-cubic algorithm, the LightJet 5900 enhances sharpness through on-the-fly pixel interpolation. Because the pixels are faithful to the original image, the system can output small files at high resolution with no loss of sharpness. Unlike software interpolators, which limit the flexibility of the interpolation process, LightJet 5900's hardware uses complex algorithms to produce the best possible results. For example, its adaptive interpolation gives users the ability to sharpen some areas of an image, while maintaining smoothness in other areas. No other printer has this capability.
