The Kodak ProShots System, from Eastman Kodak Company, digitally connects our lab with the photographer, and the photographer with the client. Photographers who shoot film simply send in their rolls for scanning. Photographers who use digital cameras can import their image files into the system very easily. Transferring, displaying and selecting photographs is much simpler compared to handling and reviewing stacks of photo proofs and organizing film negatives. The instructions for choice, treatment, cropping, size and number of photographs are transmitted via the Internet. Anyone with the website password can view and order photographs online.
ProShots is an excellent addition to the wide range of services offered by ABC Photocolour and it helps bridge the gap between the optical and digital workflow by providing a gradual transition into a studio digital workflow.

The Kodak Professional Digital Print Production Software (DP2) is the backbone of ABC Photocolourˇ¦s digital workflow. DP2 integrates all the components within the digital workflow from scanning to image adjustment and finally to printing. We are able to track your image file from the time it is scanned or imported in our system to when it gets printed and packaged.
DP2 standardizes the colour management in our digital workflow, making it easier for you to send your files to the lab. When your files arrive, they are brought into the system with the embedded profile, simplifying your interaction with the lab and allowing you to use the colour space of your preference. You will not need to convert your files to our lab working space as was done in the past eliminating one more step in your studio workflow.
By improving the efficiency of our output with the integration of DP2 and the ProShots System, we will be able to shorten turnaround times and provide new products and services not previously available.
